Senior Member of the Advisory Board
Biography
David Bradley is the Public Education and Damage Prevention Manager for Oklahoma One-Call System, Inc. (aka “Call Okie”). Call Okie is the statewide notification center that receives requests from individuals and professional excavators whose activities may affect the integrity of underground facilities in the state of Oklahoma. David's responsibility is to conduct educational and damage prevention activities that protect underground facilities of the members of the Call Okie system.
Mr. Bradley began his career in the educational field as an instructor of computer science at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He continued his educational experience at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. A brief tenure with the State of Oklahoma provided an experience with the internal activities of a state agency working in the state capitol complex as well as the children’s medical center. A transition to a more traditional environment for an Industrial Engineer followed as he worked for a steel manufacturing company in the Tulsa area. Career diversity continued as he joined an intrastate natural gas pipeline as an internal auditor. As an internal auditor he was able to gain a global perspective of the pipeline company operations. This resulted in his transfer into a field operations activity, which continued for a number of years in various management roles each with increasing responsibility for company assets and personnel. The experience with the pipeline company prepared him well or his current professional position with Oklahoma One-Call System.
Mr. Bradley is a native Oklahoman with roots in agriculture. He continues to be involved in a farming operation in north central Oklahoma.
