Biography
A native of DeSoto, Texas, Jennifer Hayes graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering. While at the University of Oklahoma, Jennifer was active in several organizations including the National Society of Black Engineers, Tau Beta Pi, and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Jennifer's top achievement at the University of Oklahoma was being named Outstanding Senior in the College of Engineering.
Since graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Jennifer has worked for ExxonMobil Global Services Company in Houston, Texas and is currently a Business Analyst. A registered engineer in training, Jennifer combines her knowledge of engineering with business principles to support Production, Drilling, and Development operations. In addition, she has recently obtained a certification in Lean Sigma.
Jennifer is also active in the Houston community. She has served as Treasurer for the Houston Alumni Extension of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and was the Hospitality Co-chair for NSBE’s National Convention that was held in Dallas, TX. Recently, Jennifer was elected Region V Alumni Chair-Elect for the society.
