Academic Background
Applicants are expected to have sufficient formal academic training in Mathematics (through advanced Calculus) and Engineering to qualify for enrollment in graduate engineering coursework. No program level prerequisites are included – only course level prerequisites.
Typical course level prerequisites are undergraduate or graduate courses in engineering statistics and operations research. Students are responsible for completing course level prerequisites before enrolling in graduate courses.
Admission Requirements
In order to be considered for admission to the graduate program, one must:
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.00;
- Present an official GRE score from ETS on Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical Writing tests;
- Supplemental application material
- Statement of Purpose/Goals (500 words or less)
- Resume/Vita
- There letters of recommendation
- A minimum TOEFL score of 550 for international students.
** We do not directly admit students into the program; we only recommends one's admission to the Graduate College.
