Application Forms and Instructions
The application process requires that you submit materials to the Graduate College of the University of Oklahoma as well as supporting documents to the School of Industrial Engineering.
What you should include in your application to the Graduate College:
- University of Oklahoma Application for Admission,
- Copies of official transcripts from all schools previously attended, and
- The application fee.
- The application fee for U.S. Citizens and permanent residents is $40.00.
- The application fee for International students is $90.00.
In addition, if you are an international applicant, please include
- your TOEFL report, and
- your confidential financial statement.

What you should include in your supporting documents to the School of IE:
- Statement of Purpose or Goals (500 words or less),
- 3 Letters of Recommendation - please request your references to comment on your knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, analytical abilities, experimental abilities, initiative, and communications skills, in addition to any other comments that would be benefital in reviewing your application. Each letter must be in a sealed envelope with the recommender's signature across the seal. (template located under Information Package below),
- Resume/Vita,
- Official GRE Score (Graduate Record Examination; applicant must request ETS to send), and
- Copy of your abstract from your thesis (Ph.D. applicants only).
